I spent most of my life in Massachusetts where I began drawing and painting as a young student. As time progressed, I began working with artists and instructors in drawing, oils and acrylics. While in the New England area, I exhibited my work at local shows, in galleries and local shops and was a member of several art groups. After we moved to Dunedin, Florida in 1992, my desire was to work in watercolor. Classes for this medium brought me to the Dunedin Art Center where I studied with the artists and instructors from the area for several years and took numerous workshops.
